Basic Studio & Sound Engineering Program

A recording studio can be intimidating when you don’t know what’s what. Learn to work in Retro Music’s professional studio and become your own engineer!
Our studio is used by a variety of local artists, from Loyiso and Flash Republic to Mark Stent and for other house, jazz, RnB and rock projects. This is where professional albums are created and our students get hands on experience in the recording industry.

Benefits of this program:

This program is specific to recording studio work, which cuts out the necessity of enrolling in a sound engineering course that
covers a lot of things you don’t need to know and won’t use in a studio.

This unique program is meant to teach students what they need to know to run a studio and produce albums as a career path. Our students get hands on experience working on studio projects with an experienced engineer.
